Too many idiots in New York though
I’m going to vote now!
More people than usual voting, although my polling place is never really packed.
I’m thinking the high turnout is for the senate?
100 in line at 7 am in MN. I was the 26 ballot through the machine.
I voted about an hour ago in Warren County, Ohio. Biggest line at poll open I’ve ever seen, should at least offset the huge loss in Dixville Notch – so we can al wait for broader returns.
A question for out compatriots in Chicago. Where is Bamster supposed to be holding his huge victory ralley? I happened to be in Chicago the election day 2008, and there were thousands of people in Grant Park by mid-morning. I’m not being snotty – where are they now?
Indoor “rally” at McCormick Place.
Couldn’t even watch that on television, far more be in Chicago.
And in the ultimate “Where are they now?”, ‘Where’s Oprah?’
According to this Reuters article the max capacity of the largest McCormick Place facility is 18K. Probably less than that when you get all the media and stage contraptions in there. Bit of a comedown from 240K in Grant Park. It’s almost like they’re not expecting a big crowd, isn’t it?

Dropped off my ballot yesterday in CA. I used to live in CO and voted in 2004, 2008, and 2010. All Republican, of course. Looking to move back ASAP.
If the vote totals at this site are correct it is landslide day. Romney winning Ohio early vote by 40,000 and Cuyahoga county (metro Cleveland) by 14,000. I hope this isn’t a fake site…

Are these just estimates based on absentees? Don’t see how he could be winning cuyahoga.
The Cincinnati Enquirer is definitely not fake.
Not sure about the numbers themselves. If Romney is winning in Cleveland…
How would these numbers be available to the Cinni inquirer?
Very Democrat like though to send this stuff out to depress the troops on the other side…
This can’t be real. The SoS made it clear when and how vote totals will be released.
The site is giving FAKE numbers! Don’t rely on any information, JUST VOTE!!!!
Voted earlier today in New Haven County, Connecticut. Romney/Ryan and all the way down the ticket Republican! We will achieve victory!
Voted absentee in CA.
im here in chicagoland… in 08, the hottest tix for a week was an invitation to grant park…having signed up for obama i got a tix and bartered it away… this year, no victory party planned. nada from OFA… it’s a different day. GOTV!!
they must just be testing their site. early votes have not counted let.
They link to it direct from the front page – very irresponsible.
Mitt Romney is flying to Pittsburgh and Cleveland today .To boost the morale of Foot soldiers who are chipping away democratic supporters and to assure Pennsylvania and Ohio how serious he is about them and their problems. Never say die spirit of Romney augurs well for future of the Nation
If I were an independent I would look beyond the rhetoric and look at the actions of both candidates. One candidate is working his tail off to secure your vote (I’m looking at you Ohio and Pennsylvania), while the other has used surrogates and celebrities, and will play basketball with his buds while waiting for the results. That’s an indictment on who will work for America and who won’t. Sound like the last four years?
Spot on. Last four years and if a mistake is committed it will be Last 8 years.America is losing leadership in the global arena. Why Putin and China do not want Romney? Because he would be stronger and not take things lying down
He is determined!
I voted in Virginia today. I live outside of Richmond, the GOP is fired up big time. I had to show ID to cast a ballot!
Vote. Vote often. Oh wait, that’s the other guys. Red guy voting in an overwhelming blue state; however, I’ll be happy to put Mitt over the top on the popular vote!
Not to get all melodramatic, but I’m a little choked up today. I’m a native New Yorker who moved out to California for law school. Now I’m a Californian. I never left. Almost exactly 20 years ago, at the height of the madness otherwise known as being a 1L student, I voted to reelect H.W. Bush and I cast the first of whats turned out to be many votes against Dianne Feinstein. Well, ironically enough, DiFi is on the ballot again this year, like a bad penny who keeps turning up. And of course the historic disaster that is our current president. Obviously I’m well aware that both Obama and DiFi will win in my adopted home state going away, but nevertheless voting against them for me will be sort of a purging and cleansing process. I can’t wait to get to the ballot booth and to vote across the board Republican. Hell, I wish I could vote 10x, like they do in Philly and Cleveland.
I’ve always thought there was something creepy about her.
I’ma New Yorker living out here a well.
I’m not crazy about Feinstein, but at least she seems rational to me.
Boxer, on the other hand, is atrocious.
Voted – In a heavy Obama area of PA. No line whatsoever. Its early but in 08 lines were long.
Wifey and i off to vote for the mittster in mn. We will be surrounded by hippies, so it will be a stealth mission.
Fellow Minnesotan here, I voted on a table next to the line to get into the booths while wearing my red sweater. All the hipsters watched me go Republican all the way down the ballot. No stealth mission for me. I rubbed my vote in their arugala eating faces!
Haha, Brittany was my daughter’s first dorm when she was at NYU. She’s now 24 and voted Romney in NC.
voted in swing county of FLORIDA but at a republican leaning precinct long long long lines —-in 2008 had no line at all and voted at the exact same time and its raining today !!
i’m sure they are not OBAMA VOTERS
Thanks for the intel! If u can swing back by later in the day and give us an update, that will be super! Go Mitt and Paul!
