You didnt fill that!
LOL

ZING!
The Obama rally photo doesn’t do it justice.Other photos show even the lower sections were sparse on the other side of the stadium.
You’re so right, valley. “Hey, let’s shoot a picture of BEHIND the stage to show how Obama sucks!”
It was a center stage rally, like Romney’s in Manchester. Look it up.
GOTV GOTV!!! GET TO WORK PEOPLE WE HAVE 21 HOURS LEFT!
Haha!!! What is also lovely is that the few Obamanistas that came to this rally were pulled away from the last hours of in-person early voting!!!! And then they bitch about lack of access to voting
Romney will be accused of Democrat Crowd Uppression.
Suppression (damn iPad)
I like to think Romney inspires Uppression, like in lifting people up. Sorry, it’s 2:30 am and I can’t sleep. Honestly, this election has me more excited than my favorite team in the Superbowl.
lol compare that to an average Jay-Z concert http://www.thelifefiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/jayz_stadium.jpg
You saying Obama depressed the turnout? Here’s another example:
@iowahawkblog
Springsteen and Obama draw 15k in Columbus. In ’85 I saw Springsteen and nobody draw 16k in Ames. And the tickets weren’t free.
LOVE IT!!! CNN cut Obama’s speech short to go to Romney in NH!!!
I guess even they don’t want to be on the wrong side of political/electoral history. If Romney manages to pull this one out, the media will end up looking like idiots (at best) or irrelevant thugs (at worst) for backing/pushing a loser.
I attended the rally this evening for Romney in Columbus, Ohio. Great crowd. Not good at estimating number of people but it was packed to the rafters. I have gone to many Hockey games at Nationwide Arena where Obama was tonight and the Arena holds about 18,000. He had to bring in Jay Z and Springsteen and it was half empty. Very telling.
Estimates were 15.5k for O and the Boss and Jayz- and 10k for Romney in a hangar with Jack Nicklaus and Scott Hamilton in OH. NH however looks like verizon holds 12k for concerts.
Reblogged this on Michael Gregg.
Let’s try some liberal spin. The real reason for the difference in attendance is that Kid Rock is way more popular than Bruce Springsteen and Jay Z. So Romney got an unfair entertainment advantage. How else can the liberals try to spin this?
Haha
One arena holds more than the other, thats why one looks empty and one looks full.
Traffic to the arena was terrible.
All the Obama voters were at the early voting polls.
Truth the Vote was intimidating people at the door so turnout was bad.
Kid Rock had his entire band and Springstein and Jay Z were alone. (Not true, but when has the truth ever stopped a liberal.)
Obama supporters have to work later hours (2nd shift) because the “man” keeps them down.
Was Obama crying?! I think he was a little bit!
Likely the Clinton “tear” of a politician
I am listening to them both at the same time. The difference in excitement is obvious. The Iowa crowd is just standing there listening to a speech. Romney doesn’t go 10 seconds without the crowd going wild. THIS IS OBVIOUS.
have the pundits ever been so wrong? even Bill OReilly won’t take a stand on the outcome. Larry Sabato — what’s his positive predictive value?
On what channel is the Romney rally?
http://www.c-span.org/Campaign2012/Events/Mitt-Ann-Romney-End-Election-Eve-in-New-Hampshire/10737435613-1/
Thanks. CSPAN on TV is showing Obama — bleckk!
What the hell is Obama talking about now…Wow…
Big ’08 primary thing. The crowd is not even into it at all. The feeling is gone.
To quote B.B. King, “The thrill is gone…”
And the smug-looking hipsters standing behind him aren’t exactly the best visual choice for middle America haha
lol, that’s what I was thinking. They wouldn’t even join in much. Terrible optics.
I remember Obama starting his campaign in this very same arena, and drew only 14,000 back on May 5th.
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/05/05/obama-empty-arena
Very fitting that he ends his campaign in the same location, with 1,000 more people than he had back in May.
Columbus Ohio being home to “the” Ohio State University. I guess the college students see him as being old and out dated.
As I’ve told all of my friends, tomorrow night is going to be fun.
i’m listening to Obama in Des Moines — talking about some woman fired up — he’s hoarse — it’s meandering and pointless. struggling to turn out the vote. pretty lame. agonal
Yea, and that was all on a teleprompter? How bizzare.
I dont know how either guy is still able to make complete sentences….they both have to be just beyond dead on their feet. Either way, it takes a special kind of person, family to withstand a two yr national campaign.
Election day begins in ten min. Go get’em ROMNEY/RYAN
Sounds like he’s playing the roll of the Titanic. The one mighty, unsinkable ship is going down.
Now, I’m a champion Obama-hater. I hate him as much as the next guy on the right. But you can’t fault a candidate for being hoarse, especially this late in the game. Meandering yes. Pointless sure. But after he’s given so many speeches, I’d cut him some slack on the less-than-stellar vocal chords.
it adds to the pathos
Well, no one chanted USA during Obama’s rally just now. That was a dud.
Obama sounds almost incoherent…
Amazing that people used to say Romney was wooden on the campaign trail. He’s phenomenal up there with engaging the crowd.
The crowd at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester New Hampshire was 11,000.
http://www.wgntv.com/news/wgntv-election-2012-romney-ends-5state-swing-in-new-hampshire-20121105,0,3512131.story
It holds 10,050 for an end stage event.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verizon_Wireless_Arena
I went there tonight. 3 hour lines for blocks to get in. I never made it in. They turned away thousands for sure. I have never seen anything like this in NH. A lot of people from MA came up too. Wow.
Thanks for the info Dave. Sorry you couldn’t get in. That’s great news about the line of people.
Hearing that Milford, Epping, and other bell weathers are trending hard Romney!
Watched it on c-span. Ann Romney was radiantly happy. She knows something. So does Mitt. It wasn’t anything feigned. Their faces were genuinely relaxed–pure quiet happiness–and maybe relief. I think they know it’s over. And I think they know no miracle can save Obama at this point.
Well Axlerod would doubtless say those empty seats are the early voters they have already banked. Except they haven’t in Cuyahoga Co apparently which may sway the state.
Just Obama’s turn to talk to an empty chair.
OK, I guess C-SPAN isn’t airing NH Dixville Notch this year. The lodge is being renovated, but still the voting is on!
O- 5
R – 5
GJ – 0
50/50, all tied up!
Why am I watching CNN?! “Democrats are just as enthusiastic as Republicans!”
Very true…they are fired up over free katy perry, jay z, dave matthews and bruce springsteen concerts….WE are fired up over our, knock wood, future POTUS-Elect
Not at Democratic Underground. They’re nervous there. I suppose they’ve noticed the contrast in enthusiasm at these rallies.
CNN sucks. My liberal wife hates FOX but adores CNN…this thing needs to be over cause she’s bugging the crap out of me.
Packed. Can’t even get out of here. Place was fired up!
will cspan be covering the dixville notch voting? anyone know?
They are at the country club instead of the lodge this year.
they said they are going to air romney’s speech instead
Dixville Notch has 10 voters and Hart’s Location has 37
Am going with a 5-5 split in Dixville Notch.
No tribe you’re the man. How bout an OH-PA prediction
A dose of reality: http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/332617/romney-s-path-270-robert-costa
“I don’t see a lot in Ohio that points to a clear Republican victory”
This is coming directly from the Romney campaign.
Andrew trolling is not nice.
A dose of reality,
Obama won Cuyahoga County in 2008 441,836 to 196,369. That’s always been a reliable Democrat county for early voting.
Fast forward to this year, and Democrat early voting has really dropped in Cuyahoga county.
http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/332072/cuyahoga-county-early-vote-slips-behind-2008-pace#
Andrew, this has been posted about five times today, but thanks for sharing.
Just trying to help:)
However many times it’s been posted, it’s still a kick in the gut.
No that comes from an unnamed Romney insider…it could be an intern, the guy who delivers copy paper or someone who worked for him during primary and didnt get a job on the campaign.
I can guarantee you no real insider of ANY major campaign would give a statement like that night before no matter if it was on background or not.
So in essence pure BS. Would say the same if obama
Shane you stole my thunder – totally agree. Could be true, could be false. But definitely not from an insider with that kind of insider info.
You can choose to believe it or not, but Robert Costa is known to be tight with the Romney campaign. One of the first to predict the Ryan VP pick.
Robert Costa being the author makes it pretty credible.
For the record, Obama onstage in IA had a kind of listless demeanor–going through the motions. A lot of people around him seemed unhappy. They were smiling, but not joyous. I think things are not going as planned.
Of course he said that. He doesn’t want complacency at this stage. They know it’s in the bag, though, believe me, probably by 5pts. I’m with Dick Morris for once–90% certainty.
Is it a coincidence that Mitt holds his rally in Manchester an hour before the first in the Nation, Dixville Notch and Harts Corner, NH vote? If Mitt wins both tiny towns, and we have a nice wake-up news in the media about it, it will go down as an absolutely brilliant last minute move on his part, and the part of his campaign.
My guess, Mitt wins Dixville, Libertarian Gary Johnson beats Obama for 2nd.
I laugh at these superstition type predictors, Redskins, the notch, college football, lol.. all part of the fun of this season!
I slaughtered a chicken and checked its entrails. The liver was clear and healthy. Romney wins.
Yea, Gary should be at least getting the guy who voted for Ron Paul in the primary.
Looking forward to to not only a Romney victory, but also a total repudiation of the MSM. The first debate was the emporer-has-no-clothes moment for Obama; tomorrow night will be the same for the MSM and their pollsters.
+1
I so agree with you! I have been crazy this election cycle with the way things have been covered and of course, the way Obama has been coddled since he came on the scene.
http://www.unionleader.com/article/20121105/NEWS0605/121109631
As of Jan. 10, 2012, the town had six residents registered to vote as Republicans, 12 as Democrats, and 12 as undeclared voters.
So Harts Location had quit a pickup with new voters being registered in ’12, from 30 to 37.
Dixville Notch will be voting shortly. Went for Obama over McCain 15-6 in 2008. Should be interesting to see how they vote this time.
A tie. 5-5. First tie in history.
Haha are you serious… Wow, talk about trying to help the ol ” HorseRace” Mantra.. Fascinating!
I Just want to thank Kieth for a fabulous site. Doubtless hundreds of hours getting all of us info. throught the last months.
Thanks you sir.

In Harts Landing I’ll go with:
Obama 16
Romney 21
I am forgetting about Johnson, he’s sure to pull votes, maybe Ron Pauls?
So 1 in Dixville and 4 in Harts.
Obama’s arena = Lots of empty chairs!
A fitting metaphor to the close of his campaign.
Sam Feist @SamFeistCNN
The first projection: CNN Projects that no candiate wins Dixville Notch, NH! Obama 5 votes, Romney 5 votes. #CNNElection

Pretty hilarous if you ask me.. Can be spun either way.. Haha.. Gotta love this year..
Dale Franks @DaleFranks
Dixville Notch exit polls say Obama 6, Romney 4.
LOL, that was funny.
+1
2008 Obama won 15-6 Dixville Notch
So much for D+9 in ‘ol Dixville
brilliant.
So I guess that makes it.. D+0… Lol, there goes all those polls… Oh noooooooo
President Romney…would be a breath of fresh air!
Sounds like Obama won Hart’s. Ah well.. Only a few votes.
Sounds like Obama took the Hart’s vote. Ah well… only a few votes anyway but was hoping to hear good news before bed.

AND how many Evangelicals do you think will vote for the Prez in Ohio this year?
My wife and I attended the Manchester rally tonight. Never saw anything like it. Lines stretched for blocks. 35 degrees with cold north wind. Long wait to get in, but people were patient and very upbeat.
Kid Rock was great and I give him a lot of credit for stepping up. Mitt seemed genuinely touched by the lengthy ovation. He has a summer home in NH and so I’m sure he is fond of the state. He looks tired and sounded hoarse, but gave a rousing speech. I don’t know how he does it, this campaign has been exhausting. Remember, he’s been campaigning for a long time, all through the primaries too.
One funny thing, someone was driving past all the crowds in a van with a stuffed dog in a crate on the roof, an obvious reference to Mitt’s ill advised decision on vacation as a young father. Everyone laughed and commented about how that’s all they’ve got on Mitt. My comment was that if the dog had a vote, he’d have rather had a ride on the roof as opposed to being eaten, lol.
Oh you beautiful Howie fan!
God Bless, and sleep well.
Kid Rock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Springstein (the aging pirate) and Jay-Z (come on, he calls himself HOV, really?)
